Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK (SRUK) is the only UK Charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with Scleroderma and Raynaud’s phenomenon. Having a relevant and carefully crafted brand identity will help them to raise awareness of the conditions and support all those affected.
I adopted the various brand elements and used them to stylize the communications to convey the brand’s values of collaboration, drive, trust and compassion. To add energy and significance, I applied the brand colours to shapes and text to create visual hierarchy. I used photography where possible to connect directly with the charity audience, as well keeping designs dynamic with the theme of interconnecting circles. It was important to make the brand collateral accessible by creating clear and concise designs. This involved using a minimum type size of 10pt, contrasting colours to retain legibility, and avoiding colour combination that could prove difficult for people with vision deficiencies.
